Is Banksy Massive Attack's Robert Del Naja?

Further evidence has come to light this week suggesting that world famous graffiti artist and activist Banksy could be Massive Attack's 3D (Robert Del Naja).

Drum and Bass legend Goldie was recently interviewed for rapper Scroobius Pip's 'Distraction Pieces' podcast in which the topic of conversation moved to Banksy's art. Goldie accidently name dropped Robert by saying:

"No disrespect to Robert, I think he is a brilliant artist. I think he has flipped the world of art over."

This is not the first time Del Naja has been called Banksy, as a few months ago fans noticed a correlation between Massive Attack's tour diary, and the appearance of Banksy's pieces in other countries around the world, as shown on this image below:

Goldie has since dismissed the claims on Twitter, saying that he and 3D have been laughing about the accusations on the phone.

Maybe this is all an elaborate distraction to keep people away from discovering the real Banksy? Some fans have also claimed that Banksy is not one person, rather a group of artists and activists that may or may not be orchestrated by Del Naja.

Regardless, Banksy's work continues to be some of the best, inspirational and most provocative street art in the world and we will be continuing to keep a close on him!

'Cave Painting' by Banksy - One of our favourites, which appears to protest against the attitudes towards graffiti art.
